Based upon the work of Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn and Prof. Claude Nicolau, NormOxys has discovered and is currently developing a novel class of carbohydrate-based drugs. The novel agents in our portfolio exhibit extreme druggability and excellent tolerability that contrasts sharply with existing toxic chemotherapies. More specifically, our lead normalizes the neo vasculature in tumors, enhances the tumor PO₂, inhibits PI3k, and it has shown striking efficacy in in vivo rodent cancer models. In addition to many potential indications in oncology, opportunities for new therapies exist in COPD, asthma, inflammatory diseases, lupus, endometriosis, obesity, type II diabetes among others.
